From
the pursuit of making his very first mechanical hardness tester
to the formation of the company, Mr. Heinrich Bareiss started
his blueprint from the perspectives of quality and technology.
Founded in 1954, Bareiss has always been committing to the
manufacturing of the highest quality testing instruments for
hardness, abrasion, and elasticity. Much of its technology
development has been devoted to the testing solutions of elastomeric
materials and plastics. The long history of experience and
technology focus on this particular sector of industry have
made Bareiss a true profession in providing hardness testing
solutions.

Bareiss's competitiveness
derives from its core competencies and core products. As high
as 95% of in-house fabrication rate and a team of experienced
engineers are the backbone of our capability for custom solutions.
The unique modular product design provides advantages of easy
maintenance, interchangeable measuring units and build as
your budget allows concept. The leading position in the industry
has also made Bareiss the very first DKD calibration laboratory
in Germany accredited and supervised by PTB ( the highest
technical authority under the Federal Ministry of Economics
and Technology in Germany ). This accreditation eables Bareiss
to provide calibration services on Shore and IRHD testing
devices which can be done in Bareiss's laboratory facility
or in the field. An official DKD calibration certificate thus
can be issued by Bareiss after the calibration service is
done.

| Due to the wide variety of Bareiss's
products and their applications, we have customers in many industries
but most noticeably the automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical,
chemical, food, packaging, research centers and institutes.
To tackle the rapid growth of the manufacturing industry in
Asia, Bareiss has expanded its presence by establishing its
first Asia-Pacific subsidiary in Hong Kong to better service
our customers in those regions in a timely and local manner. |
