| Calibration laboratories of industrial companies, research institutes, technical authorities, control- and test institutions are joined in the DKD. They are accredited and controlled by the department of accreditation of the Deutschen Kalibrierdienst at the Physikalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt. They make calibrations of testing instruments and embodiments of measures for the measurable variables and measuring ranges which were determined during the accreditation. |
The DKD-calibration certificates, which are made by them, are a proof of the trace ability to national standards,
as they are demanded by the family of norms DIN EN ISO 9000 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. |
